Updated 4/13/16 5:24pm The Missouri State Highway Patrol has announced sobriety checkpoints, DWI saturation patrols, and other special enforcment operations for April, 2016 across Missouri.
- Missouri State Highway Patrol DWI Checkpoints: Cole County, Pemiscot County, Platte County (with assitance from Kansas City Police), Webster County
- Missouri State Highway Patrol DWI Saturation Patrols: Greene County, New Madrid County, St. Charles County
- Missouri State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP): Franklin County – looking for commercial vehicle violations as well as hazardous moving violations from all drivers.
“Sobriety checkpoints enable the Missouri State Highway Patrol to enhance its efforts in removing impaired drivers from our highways,” stated Captain Turner of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. “Driving while impaired continues to be a major contributing factor of traffic crashes in Missouri and we are committed to protect the public from these drivers.”
